The police department of Aktobe region has opened a criminal case into the car fire at an auto gas filling station. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The incident resulted in the deaths of three people: a woman and two minors. Additionally, one man was taken to a medical facility with burns.

"This fact has been registered under Article 281 of the Criminal Code ('Violation of safety rules at explosive objects')," the police statement said.

The owner of the auto gas filling station has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. Currently, police officers are conducting investigative actions aimed at establishing the circumstances and causes of the incident. The investigation is under special control of the police department leadership.

It is noted that on the evening of June 19, a car caught fire at a gas station in Aktobe, and three people were burned alive.
