A car caught fire at a gas station in Aktobe, killing three people. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the regional emergency department, two of the victims were minors. On June 19 at 10:55 p.m., a report was received at the 112 dispatch center about a car fire on the territory of a gas station on Bogenbai Batyr Street in Aktobe. The fire was fully extinguished eight minutes later, at 11:03 p.m.
Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to the gas station facilities. During extinguishing, the bodies of three people were found in the car's cabin, two of whom were minors. One injured person was taken to a medical facility and hospitalized.
About 50 emergency department employees, including rescuers from the Operational Rescue Squad and specialists from the Disaster Medicine Center, as well as more than 10 pieces of equipment, were involved in the response. The cause of the fire is being investigated. Necessary operational and investigative measures are underway.
