Coca-Cola has started construction of its fourth plant in Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The project is being carried out by Coca-Cola Icecek Kazakhstan. The new plant will produce carbonated and non-carbonated beverages. Construction has just begun, with a time capsule laid instead of a foundation stone.
The company currently has plants in Almaty region, Astana, and Shymkent. With the launch of the Aktobe facility, production in the western region will become closer to local residents. This should simplify supply and increase the volume of soft drink output.
The company promises that the new plant will operate with less environmental impact and better waste recycling.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported on the years when the Coca-Cola Christmas truck caravan passed through Kazakhstan.
