In Aktobe, during a special operation involving special forces, a 38-year-old resident of Aktobe suspected of organizing an online store for selling narcotic drugs in the region was detained. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Polisia.kz.
During the arrest, a double-barreled shotgun with cartridges, a traumatic and pneumatic pistol, a revolver, an F-1 grenade and ammunition were found and seized.
Later, while investigating the suspect's criminal connections, police detained an alleged drug courier. During a search of his rented apartment, 70 bottles of hashish oil (WAX) and money presumably obtained from illegal activities were seized.
A pre-trial investigation is underway for illegal storage of narcotic drugs in especially large quantities and illegal storage of weapons and ammunition. The suspects have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
