In Aktobe, participants of a wedding cortege that took to the streets in 90s style were held accountable. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

A video spread on social media showing newlyweds riding in an old Moskvich, with young people piled in the back of a truck. They also caught the attention of the police.

Official police statement

"The festive mood should not interfere with compliance with road safety requirements. During monitoring of the video recording, police officers established that several drivers violated traffic rules. In particular, facts of transporting passengers outside the vehicle cabin, as well as violations of the requirements for using external lighting devices and sound signals during daylight hours, were recorded," the official statement says.

Violators identified

The violators turned out to be residents of the Kargaly district. The drivers were held administratively liable.
