In the Aktobe region, a man sold non-existent land plots to several citizens and embezzled their money. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the police, a resident who wanted to buy land in the regional center fell for the fraudster's trick. The suspect promised to sell land plots at a low price and took the citizens' money.
During operational search activities, police detained a 37-year-old man. It turned out that the suspect did not own any land plots. Currently, his involvement in three other similar fraud cases has been established.
The total material damage exceeds 5 million tenge. The police are conducting a pre-trial investigation under the article 'Fraud'.
