Kazakh low-cost carrier FlyArystan has announced a promotion on the new international route Aktau–Urumqi. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
One-way fares start from 41,000 tenge. The promotional offer is valid for flights from June 26 to October 24, 2026. However, tickets at the special price can only be purchased on June 13 and 14.
"The new route will connect Aktau with the Chinese city of Urumqi. Flights will start on June 26 and will operate twice a week. Departures from Aktau are scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays at 20:20. Arrival in Urumqi is the next day at 03:05 local time," the low-cost carrier's press service reported.
Return flights will depart from Urumqi on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 04:05 and arrive in Aktau at 05:20 local time.
The airline notes that Urumqi remains one of the popular destinations among Kazakh tourists. The city attracts travelers with its blend of Chinese and Central Asian cultures, rich cuisine, history of the Great Silk Road, and shopping opportunities.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that FlyArystan operated its first direct flight on the Aktau–Batumi route.
It was previously reported that Air Astana is resuming regular air service with Dubai. Flights on the Almaty–Dubai–Almaty route will resume from June 20, and Astana–Dubai–Astana from July 10.
