Several flights were forced to land at Atyrau airport due to heavy fog in Aktau. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
On the morning of July 12, visibility at Aktau airport dropped to 50 meters. According to airport services, three flights were diverted to Atyrau due to the fog. These included aircraft from Astana and Almaty.
Passengers are being provided with necessary assistance and additional information. The airport administration stated that flights will return to normal after the fog clears.
