In Aktau, firefighters extinguished a fire in one of the boutiques on the territory of a market located in the 23rd microdistrict of the city. The fire broke out in a retail outlet selling stationery. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Upon receiving the report, emergency services promptly arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire. Their actions prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring boutiques.
"Firefighters managed to prevent further spread of the fire to adjacent commercial premises. The fire area was 60 square meters. The blaze was completely extinguished in the shortest possible time," the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
No one was injured as a result of the incident. The cause of the fire is being determined.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that about 100 people were involved in extinguishing a fire at a solid waste landfill in Astana.
