Residents of Aktau, protesting the lack of heating, took to the streets and planned to block the road. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the akimat, heating supply to several residential buildings was temporarily suspended due to a malfunction in the heating network. After repair work was completed, heating was restored. However, tired of repeated heating outages, residents gathered in the evening and expressed their discontent.
The city akim met with the residents and said he had taken the issue under personal control. The residential buildings where residents protested have been fully supplied with heat. It also turned out that the construction company that built the house has still not submitted the engineering network documents to the akimat.
