A ceremonial event dedicated to the start of construction of a new multifunctional stadium was held in Aktau. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Mangistau regional akimat, the total area of the complex will be 17.29 hectares. The football field will be 105×68 meters with natural turf. A heating system and underground drainage are also provided.
Training fields
Two training fields will be built on the complex's territory. The first field, measuring 60×40 meters, will be equipped with a stand for 600 spectators, and the second, 40×20 meters, with a stand for 400 spectators.
Stadium categories
It is planned to host football matches of national and international level here. According to the requirements of the Kazakhstan Football Federation, the stadium will meet the 5th category, and according to UEFA standards, the 4th category, the official statement says.
Football academy
The new facility will also include a football academy. The academy will have a dormitory for 40 people, a canteen, a mini-football hall, training and functional halls, medical and rehabilitation blocks, study rooms and a conference hall.
Architectural concept
The architectural concept of the stadium will be made in a modern style. The spectator stands will be covered, and architectural and decorative lighting will be installed on the building's facade in the evening.
It is worth noting that today a time capsule was laid in the foundation of the future facility.
