Search and rescue operations are ongoing in Aktau for 18-year-old Azamat Duisekhanov, who went missing on the afternoon of July 7 near the O'Mir resort hotel. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the regional emergency department, 53 people, six units of equipment, three watercraft, ten divers, and eight unmanned aerial vehicles are involved in the search.
The main group consists of 32 emergency department employees, including 11 rescuers from the rapid response team. They are using four units of equipment, three watercraft, and eight drones to survey the water area and coastal zone.
Additionally, five divers and one unit of equipment from the Kazakh Navy, as well as five divers and one unit of equipment from the Border Service of the National Security Committee, have been deployed.
According to rescuers, the air temperature in the search area reaches +30 degrees Celsius, and the water temperature is +22 degrees Celsius. Weather conditions remain favorable for the operation: cloudy, with an easterly wind of up to 4 m/s.
