Residents of Aktau will remain without hot water until at least the end of August. The resumption date has been postponed due to ongoing repairs on the main pipeline. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Lada.kz.
MAEK LLP warned about the postponement. The company explained that work on the main pipeline is ongoing, so it will not be possible to restore hot water supply within the previously announced timeframe.
"Dear residents of Aktau. Due to the continuation of repair works on the main pipeline, the resumption of hot water supply is postponed to the end of August," the press service of the energy plant reported.
Initially, hot water in the city was planned to be shut off from 10:00 on June 27 to 24:00 on July 12. However, later the repair completion dates were extended to August 1.
Now MAEK has announced another postponement. According to the updated schedule, hot water in Aktau will appear no earlier than the end of August.
