Official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Zhetibayev, explained the procedure for resuming flights to the Middle East following the US-Iran peace agreement. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Earlier, air traffic was suspended due to the situation in the Middle East. At today's briefing, Zhetibayev said: "We are monitoring the situation in the Middle Eastern countries. Relevant recommendations will be given soon, or official information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be published."

According to him, everything will depend on the situation in the Middle East. If the situation is stable and there is no threat to air traffic, flights will be resumed.

It is worth noting that earlier, 10,275 Kazakh citizens were evacuated from Middle Eastern countries. At that time, the Foreign Ministry advised citizens not to travel there.
