President Donald Trump called the latest inflation numbers “great,” insisting prices will “come down like a rock” once the war with Iran ends. He also claimed for the first time that U.S. forces are moving millions of barrels of oil nightly through the Strait of Hormuz. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Associated Press.
Trump’s warnings at the White House and on social media came hours after Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan — all of which host U.S. troops — came under Iranian fire.
The US military’s Central Command says it launched more strikes on Iran on the second day of renewed fire.
