Israel strikes Beirut suburb
As reported by BBC, Israel launched airstrikes on targets in the suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut. This is the first major attack since a ceasefire brokered by the United States. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing BBC News.
According to Israel, the strikes were carried out "in response to shelling of Israeli territory by Hezbollah."
The US-brokered ceasefire came into effect several days ago.
