The United States is still willing to facilitate a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, unlike European countries. Moscow welcomes this stance, said Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"The United States, unlike European countries, retains the intention to help open the way to peace talks. Sometimes they may make mistakes or misjudge the situation. However, we consider their intention sincere and welcome it," Peskov told reporters.
He noted that Russia is ready for a peaceful settlement of the situation in Ukraine.
