The United States has eased the export of Nvidia AI chips and military equipment to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Reuters.

Under the new rules, US companies no longer need special licenses to export high-performance AI chips and military-grade equipment to the UAE. The decision aims to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Nvidia AI chips are among the most advanced technologies globally, and their export was previously restricted due to US national security concerns. However, the new policy is based on recognizing the UAE as a trusted partner.

This change reflects the US desire to expand technological collaboration with strategic allies in the Middle East. The UAE, in turn, plans to increase investments in AI and defense sectors.
