A resident of Akmola region was mistakenly declared dead, leaving her without a pension for two months. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing the Telegram channel HALYQSTAN.
Incident Details
Tatyana Zhuravleva from the village of Petrovka, Sandyktau district, was affected. According to her family, when registering the death of another person at the multidisciplinary medical center of the Astana akimat, the pensioner's IIN was used, and a death certificate was issued in her name.
As a result, her pension payments were stopped. Relatives claim she has lost her only source of income and cannot afford food, medicine, and other daily expenses.
Attempts to Fix the Error
The family said they repeatedly tried to correct the data, but the issue remains unresolved. According to relatives, the medical institution either does not answer calls or asks them to wait.
The pensioner's relatives demand an official investigation, identification of the causes of the error, prosecution of those responsible, and restoration of the woman's rights, including payment of pension arrears.
