Two wildfires broke out simultaneously in Akmola region — in Bulandy and Tselinograd districts. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Fire in Bulandy district

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, forest litter caught fire near the 26th passing loop station in Bulandy district. The fire spread over a preliminary area of five hectares. 100 people and 21 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing.

Two helicopters were used to fight the fire. Aviation made 28 drops and released a total of 31 tons of water. The fire was localized, and work on complete elimination continues.

Fire in Tselinograd district

In Tselinograd district, near the village named after Ybyrai Altynsarin, dry grass caught fire. The fire was completely extinguished by the forces of the Emergency Situations Department of Akmola region and Astana.

In both cases, there were no deaths or injuries.
