A car struck three road workers in Akmola Region, killing one person and hospitalizing two others. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the regional police department, the accident occurred on October 23 on the Astana – Atbasar – Zhaksy highway.
At the 163rd kilometer of the road, a Chery Arrizo 8 car hit three employees of a road organization. Police said the workers were on the roadway without reflective vests.
“As a result of the accident, one pedestrian died at the scene, and two were hospitalized in a medical facility,” the regional police department’s statement said.
A pre-trial investigation is underway into the accident.
