In the Akmola region, the activities of a criminal group engaged in the illegal sale of electronic nicotine delivery systems (vapes), flavorings, and liquids have been stopped. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The products were sold through online stores on social media, and delivery was organized via courier service. Participants used conspiracy measures to conceal their illegal activities and employed droppers to receive and cash out funds. The criminal income exceeded 221 million tenge.

By court order, an apartment and a car belonging to the suspects were seized. The organizer has been taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
