In the city of Stepnogorsk, Akmola region, police officer Adil Kutushev found a missing schoolgirl. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

After quarreling with her mother, the 13-year-old girl asked to go outside and disappeared. The woman searched for her daughter in vain in the evening and contacted the police.

"At about 8:00 p.m., the girl's mother called and asked us to find her daughter. Her daughter had not been in touch for several hours. The family quarrel was over a mobile phone. The teenager had never behaved like this before; she studies well at school," says Adil Kutushev.

The teenager left home at about 3:00 p.m. The police called her mobile phone several times, but the girl was not found at the location indicated by the mobile network.

"At about 2:00 a.m., the search stopped. But I took the mother and continued searching. A colleague said there was a herdsman in that gorge and suggested asking him. We looked for the herdsman, but he was not there. We also searched for the girl on the roofs of houses, checked all residential areas," says Adil Kutushev.

They tried to view CCTV cameras of nearby institutions, but they said they work from eight in the morning. The officer searched for the girl until four in the morning and found her at the site of the initial search. According to him, she got lost in the dark.

The girl's mother is grateful to the policeman who continued the search alone when everyone else stopped. Adil Kutushev has been working in the police for only one year. He does not consider saving the girl a feat. "Any policeman would have done the same in my place," said Adil, urging parents to be careful with their children.
