A nighttime visit to a neighbor ended in a criminal case for a 37-year-old resident of Akmola Region. The man entered the home of a 20-year-old woman while she was sleeping and photographed her. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The woman reported the incident to the police after the suitor boasted about the photos he had taken.
According to the regional police department, law enforcement officers proved that the man had indeed entered her home at night.
He explained his actions by saying he allegedly wanted to talk to his neighbor. However, instead of a conversation, he became the subject of a criminal case.
"Currently, all circumstances of the incident are being clarified, as well as the man's reasons and motives. Based on the investigation results, a final procedural decision will be made," the department said.
The police reminded that entering someone else's home or apartment without permission is prohibited. The inviolability of the home is guaranteed by law, and illegal entry is criminally punishable.
