A car hit three road workers in the Akmola region. As a result, one person died and two others were taken to hospital. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred on 23 October on the Astana–Atbasar–Zhaksy highway. According to the regional police department, the accident was registered at the 163rd kilometer of the highway.
The driver of a Chery Arrizo 8 hit three workers who were on the roadway. According to police, the workers were not wearing reflective vests.
As a result, one of them died at the scene, while the other two were taken to hospital with various injuries. A pre-trial investigation is currently underway into the incident.
