In the Akmola region, 235 offenses in the field of protecting minors' rights were identified during the three-day operational preventive measure 'Children in the Night City'. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The majority of violations are related to teenagers being outside at night without the accompaniment of parents or legal representatives. A total of 222 such facts were recorded.

Additionally, 10 cases of minors consuming alcoholic beverages, two cases of petty hooliganism, and one case of harassment in a public place were identified.

As a result of the raids, 16 parents and legal representatives were held accountable for improper fulfillment of child-rearing duties. Another four entrepreneurs were held responsible for selling alcohol to minors.

During the preventive measures, juvenile police officers checked families and teenagers on preventive registration. Special attention was paid to preventing family dysfunction, neglect, and juvenile delinquency.

Currently, more than 670 dysfunctional parents and 150 minors are on the preventive records of internal affairs bodies. During the operational preventive measure, an additional eight parents and two teenagers were placed on record.

Simultaneously, the operational preventive measure 'Teenager' continues in the region. Within its framework, three informal leaders among minors prone to unlawful behavior were identified.

Also, in the Zharkain district, one case of illegal storage or carrying of prohibited items by a minor was registered.

During monitoring of the internet space, 56 internet resources and publications with content that could negatively affect the life and health of children were identified.

The police department of the Akmola region urged parents to strengthen control over the whereabouts of children during the summer holidays and pay more attention to their leisure and safety.

Earlier, 'Kursiv' reported that in nightclubs and bars in Almaty, a system of 'smart' cameras was introduced that analyzes visitors and helps identify minors.
