A four-year-old girl died as a result of a road traffic accident in Nuresil village, Tselinograd district, Akmola Region. The tragedy occurred on September 15. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to preliminary information, the child was near her father when a Gazelle vehicle drove past. The girl ended up under the wheels of the vehicle and sustained injuries incompatible with life.
"As a result of the road traffic accident, the girl died. The driver has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility," the police department said.
An investigation is underway into the fatal road accident. Other circumstances of the incident are being established.
The police department urged drivers to strictly observe traffic rules and speed limits, and to be extremely attentive on the road.
