An 18-year-old motorcyclist died in a collision with a KamAZ truck in the Akmola region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the press service of the regional police department, the fatal accident occurred on June 27 at approximately 06:15 on the second kilometer of the Zarechnoye — Yelikti highway. A KamAZ truck and an LTM motorcycle collided.
"As a result of the accident, the motorcycle driver, born in 2008, died at the scene from his injuries. A pre-trial investigation is being conducted, and a procedural decision will be made based on its results," police reported.
Currently, police officers are establishing all circumstances of the incident.
The police department also appealed to motorcycle owners to follow traffic rules. Drivers are advised to choose a safe speed, use protective gear, avoid dangerous maneuvers, and exercise increased caution on the road.
This incident once again highlights the importance of adhering to traffic regulations. Motorcyclists should be especially careful on the roads during the summer season. Police promised to provide further information after the investigation is completed.
