Due to unfavorable weather conditions, traffic restrictions have been introduced on several republican highways in the Akmola and Pavlodar regions. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

This was reported by the "KazAvtoZhol" company. "From 17:20 on November 8, 2026, the exit onto the road of all types of vehicles equipped with summer tires is prohibited," the statement reads.

Restrictions in Akmola region

In the Akmola region, traffic is restricted on the following highways:

  • 01the highway "Astana – Kokshetau – Petropavl – border of the Russian Federation" at the 18–232 km section (from Astana to the city of Shchuchinsk);
  • 02the highway "Astana – Shiderty – Pavlodar – Uspenka – border of the Russian Federation" at the 16–200 km section (from Astana to the border of Pavlodar region).

Restrictions in Pavlodar region

In the Pavlodar region:

  • 01the highway "Astana – Shiderty – Pavlodar – Uspenka – border of the Russian Federation" at the 200–254 km section (from the border of Akmola region to the village of Shiderty).
