The youngest daughter of the family killed by their son-in-law in Atyrau region, Akbayan Mukangaliyeva, has given her first interview. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Previously, Akbayan spent most of her time sleeping, but now she pays attention to her surroundings and has started talking to people. Moreover, recently she often asks about her native village, parents, and siblings. However, relatives say nothing.
Doctors have not disclosed Akbayan's exact diagnosis. She herself says she fell ill after giving birth to her fifth child and has since forgotten many things. Nevertheless, she knows the names and birth years of each of her children by heart. She visits her children every week.
"The little one cries, asking to be taken away. Yes, I go to a psychologist. In the morning, twice a week. But I am not seriously ill," says Akbayan.
According to relatives, she remembers her former life and recognizes her relatives. However, the period after the birth of her fifth child has been erased from her memory. Despite this, positive changes have been observed recently. The goal now is to continue recovery without stopping and to see qualified specialists. This requires funds.
It should be noted that Akbayan Mukangaliyeva is the youngest daughter of the family that became the victim of a horrific crime in Zhangeldin village, and the former wife of Sultan Sarsemaliyev, who brutally killed four members of one family. Akbayan was hospitalized in a neuropsychiatric hospital after being brought to the country from Indonesia. Due to her health condition, she was unable to participate in the trial either. Sarsemaliyev was sentenced to life imprisonment.
