From tennis to T-ball, the White House's South Lawn has seen sports, but not like the UFC

The White House's South Lawn is no stranger to sports. President George H.W. Bush opened a new horseshoe pit on April 1, 1989. President Dwight Eisenhower practiced golf on the putting green on Jan. 13, 1959, and played golf on Sept. 14, 1959, on the eve of Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev's visit. President George W. Bush, along with National Baseball Hall of Fame member Willie Mays, opened the White House Tee Ball Game on July 30, 2006. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Associated Press.

Now the White House is preparing for another sporting event: a UFC fight. This will be the most unusual sports event on the South Lawn. Such a fight has never been held there before. The president's administration is enhancing security measures to organize this event.
