The Amanat and Adilet political parties are merging. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Deputies voted in favor of the decision. At the congress of the Amanat party, participants unanimously approved the decision to merge with the Adilet party.

Majilis deputy Unzila Shapak believes it is necessary to combine the capabilities of political forces and further increase their potential to serve the interests of society and the state. "Of course, each party has its own positions and peculiarities. However, the common values that unite us are much more important. This is the principle of building a just state enshrined in the new Constitution, the stability of independent Kazakhstan, its security, the well-being of citizens and the future of the younger generation," she said.

According to her, the principles and reforms enshrined in the new Constitution remain the main guideline for the country's political forces. "This step is a natural development of the political system and the readiness of forces serving the country's interests to unite for a common goal," Shapak noted.

Secretary of the Pavlodar region maslikhat Ilya Terenchenko also supported the initiative, emphasizing the importance of concentrating efforts and uniting around a national goal. "We consider this decision as a timely step. Ultimately, all this should serve to strengthen independence, improve the quality of life of citizens, strengthen the unity of the people of Kazakhstan and the sustainable development of the country," he said.

In his speech, Terenchenko recalled that the president has repeatedly spoken about uniting efforts around national values and goals.
