An explosion occurred in a three-story townhouse in the Medeu district of Almaty. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident took place on October 22 on Kapparov Street. As a result, two apartments were damaged, and two children aged 11 and 9 were injured.
"The cause could be a natural gas leak. As a result of the incident, two minor children received minor injuries. After a medical examination and necessary assistance, they were sent home," the city akimat said.
Currently, responsible services are establishing the causes and circumstances of the incident.
