In Almaty, penalties for debts on heat and hot water are being forgiven, the city administration reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
A campaign called "Pay off your debt and get rid of the penalty!" has been launched in Almaty for consumers of thermal energy. Under the campaign, residents are exempt from accrued penalties if they fully repay the principal debt for heating and hot water supply services. Additionally, this opportunity allows for the removal of seizures and restrictions on debtors' property and bank accounts.
To participate in the campaign, it is necessary to fully repay the principal debt from August to the end of December of this year. After that, an application must be submitted to Almaty Heat System LLP, a digital version of the identity card obtained via eGov mobile, and a document confirming payment of the principal debt (cash receipt) to [email protected] or to one of the consumer service centers at the place of residence.
For advice on the amount of debt or accrued payments for thermal energy, you can contact the Almaty Heat System information service at 341-07-77. If the debt is not repaid within the established period, consumers will be disconnected from heat supply, and the debt will be collected through court proceedings, the administration warned.
