The Almaty akimat has introduced temporary traffic restrictions on Zhualy Street as part of the project to extend Tole bi Street to the city border. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the city administration, due to the reconstruction of utility networks, traffic will be restricted from 08:00 on June 29 to 08:00 on July 29 on the section from Tole bi Street to Raiymbek Batyr Avenue.
A detour will be organized via Baiken Ashimov, Zhumaniyazov streets and further along Tole bi Street.
"Warning signs and boards with contact information of the head of the contracting organization will be installed at the repaired section. Please plan your route in advance," the city administration appealed to residents and guests of the metropolis.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that the extension of Tole bi Street in Almaty would be completed in December. 13.6 billion tenge was allocated to complete the work.
