The illegally built Berekе market on Gogol Street in Almaty has been demolished. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to representatives of the city construction control department, the retail outlets were built without the necessary documents. As a result of the inspection, administrative measures were taken against the owner and an order was issued to eliminate the violations. However, since this requirement was not fulfilled, a lawsuit was filed in court to demolish the structure. The court issued a decision to demolish the illegally built structure. After the decision entered into legal force, the owner voluntarily demolished it.
