A new multidisciplinary oncology center is planned to be built in Almaty. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the city administration, the project has received a positive conclusion from the state expertise. This allows moving to the next stage of its implementation.
The center will include a 250-bed inpatient facility operating around the clock, an 80-bed day hospital for chemotherapy, and a consultative and diagnostic outpatient clinic.
Additionally, the center will house modern clinical-diagnostic, molecular-genetic, and pathomorphological laboratories for high-precision research.
The project also includes the creation of a digital medical archive, a situation center, and a hospital pharmacy with an automated system for preparing anticancer drugs.
