Temporary traffic restrictions are being introduced on sections of Tole Bi street in Almaty as part of the implementation of the LRT project. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to Almaty_Joly, from 23:00 on September 25 to 18:00 on September 26, traffic is closed on the section from Seifullin Avenue to Nauryzbai Batyr Street.
In addition, from 23:00 to 06:00 on September 26 and 27, traffic will be restricted on the section from Rozybakiev Street to Karimov Street (in the western direction). Reversible traffic will be organized on this section.
Warning signs will be installed on the section under repair. Drivers are asked to plan their route in advance.
Earlier, Kursiv wrote that preparatory work for the construction of the light rail transport line continues on Tole Bi street in Almaty.
Recall that the first stage of the first LRT line will start from the depot in the industrial zone of the Alatau district near Monke Bi and Baurzhan Momyshuly streets. Then the route will go along Baurzhan Momyshuly street to Tole Bi, then along Tole Bi in the eastern direction to Abylai Khan Avenue, and then along it to the Almaty-2 railway station.
