A woman in Almaty who filmed sanitation workers resting during lunchtime and disturbed their peace has been brought to justice. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred on August 22 at approximately 13:10 in the area of an alley located on the dividing strip of Mailin Street. At that time, employees of the "Almaty Tazalyk" Municipal State Enterprise in the Turksib district were on their lunch break.
Lunch break schedule
According to the city administration, the lunch break lasts from 12:00 to 14:00. The enterprise's production staff works around the clock in three shifts. For all shifts, two two-hour breaks for lunch are provided:
- 01day shift: from 12:00 to 14:00;
- 02night shift: from 00:00 to 02:00.
Actions against the woman
In this regard, on August 23, 2026, the enterprise's employees filed a complaint with the Turksib district police department against the woman who conducted the provocative filming. Currently, officers of the Turksib district police department have identified the woman.
An administrative case has been opened against the woman under the article "Petty hooliganism." The material has been sent to the specialized administrative court of Almaty.
Additional fine
During the investigation, it was also found that the woman was walking her dog without a muzzle. For violating the requirements of legislation in the field of responsible treatment of animals, she was brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Article 407-2 of the Administrative Code of Kazakhstan. A fine of 10 MCI was imposed.
