In one of Almaty's stores, a man hid expensive soap under his clothes and tried to take it without paying. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
However, his actions were noticed by the sellers, who called the police. Law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene detained the suspect.
As it became known, two men entered the store, first browsing the alcohol shelves, then the household chemicals section. At the checkout, one of them paid only for the marmalade and tried to sneak the soap past.
But the sellers promptly noticed the suspicious actions and raised the alarm. During the detention of the suspect, one of his female acquaintances tried to intervene and caused a scandal.
She resisted police officers and aggravated the situation. As a result, the man who tried to take the soap without paying and the woman who tried to defend him were taken to the police department.
