A 44-year-old man died in Almaty after crashing his electric scooter into a curb at night, succumbing to injuries. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred on Varlamov Street, near Tole Bi Avenue. According to preliminary data, the man lost control of the electric scooter and collided with a stone on the roadside.
He fell heavily and sustained serious injuries. Emergency medical workers arrived at the scene promptly and provided medical assistance.
Doctors tried for several minutes to save his life, but he died from his injuries. According to preliminary information, he was not wearing a helmet or other personal protective equipment while riding the scooter.
