A 31-year-old man in Almaty was arrested for 10 days after insults and threats against a family from Pavlodar. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Cause of the conflict
According to police, the conflict arose over a negative review of a rented apartment. The family came to Almaty for a child's medical examination and rented housing. However, the condition of the apartment did not match the stated conditions, after which the tenants left a negative review.
Threats and demands
They were contacted and demanded to delete the comment. The conversation was accompanied by insults and threats.
Police action
Police officers of the Almaly district identified the 31-year-old man involved in the incident. The materials were sent to court.
"By court decision, the man was found guilty of petty hooliganism and arrested for 10 days," the police reported.
Police warning
The department recalled that domestic disagreements must be resolved in the legal field, and threats, insults and attempts at intimidation receive a legal assessment.
