In Almaty, a fire broke out in an apartment on the fourth floor of a five-story residential building. Due to heavy smoke, rescuers had to evacuate people from the building via the staircase. Among those rescued were five children. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The fire occurred in a house on Turgut Ozal Street. When the first units arrived at the scene, the entrance was already heavily smoked.
