Almaty has set maximum prices for vegetables for 8 months. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The corresponding decision was made by the city akimat. Maximum prices have been established for the main types of vegetable products for a period of 8 months.

This measure is aimed at ensuring stability of food prices and supporting socially vulnerable groups of the population. The introduction of maximum prices is intended to prevent a sharp increase in costs.

Residents of Almaty will now be able to purchase vegetables at a price not exceeding the established maximum level. This is stated in a message distributed by the Sputnik Kazakhstan agency.
