In Almaty, a minor girl was detained on suspicion of distributing drugs through hidden stashes. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
In the Medeu district, officers of the drug crime control department stopped a taxi with three minor girls inside.
According to operational data, one of them may have been involved in drug distribution. During a search, numerous bundles wrapped in colored tape were found on her. Inside were plant-based substances and, according to preliminary data, synthetic drugs in crystalline form.
The police reported that the detainee confessed to distributing prohibited substances and said she left them in hiding places.
The investigation will determine whether the other two girls knew about the alleged illegal activity and could have been involved.
Law enforcement is also finding out who involved the minor in drug distribution, how the scheme was organized, and why the girl decided to earn money this way.
"Special attention will be paid to her upbringing conditions, as well as the role of parents and close circle," the police said.
