In Almaty, police detained a man while he was applying advertisements for drugs on a city fence. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the Police Department, he received the task through a Telegram channel, and was promised money for completing it.
The man was detained by officers of the department for combating drug crime. A criminal case has been opened into the incident, and an investigation is underway. Police are identifying other participants in the scheme, including those who gave the tasks and organized the placement of the inscriptions.
"The promise of quick money does not exempt from responsibility," police warned.
The Almaty Police Department recalled that applying drug advertisements can entail criminal liability, including imprisonment.
Earlier, "Kursiv" wrote that two girls in Almaty were arrested for five days for swearing on a TikTok livestream.
