Eurasian Fashion Week with spring-summer collection shows will take place in Almaty. Kursiv LifeStyle found out who will be the special guests of the event. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Dates and venue
The fashion shows will be held on October 22-23 at The Ritz-Carlton Almaty. The theme of the new EFW season will be «SYNERGY» — the interaction of different cultures and generations, from which something fundamentally new is born, the organizers say.
Kazakh designers
In addition to Kazakh designers (Dom mody Tamyr, Zhuman, Nurasem, Zhas Orken and others), special guests from European and Asian countries will come to the event.
Guests from Europe and Asia
The Polish creative duo Hector & Karger (Nestor Przemyslaw and Robert Karger Sebastian) presented their works at London Fashion Week and Fashion Week Poland. The brand's looks were chosen by American singers Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey.
South Korean designer Kim Joo Han will bring collections of the Daily Mirror brand, where refined feminine silhouettes are combined with emphatically masculine details, such as broad shoulders. She participated in Milan Fashion Week and annually shows collections at Seoul Fashion Week.
Headliners from Thailand, the Everyweek Outfit brand and its creators Monsikarn Pitunkitjar and Kurisara Jivanang, will show collections where folk craft techniques are combined with current details: draping and sequins. The brand has also made a name for itself at Seoul Fashion Week.
Lecture on commercial fashion product
Giovanni Ottonello, art director and professor at the European Institute of Design (IED), will tell EFW guests about the development of a commercial fashion product.
