Three daughters-in-law from one family caught stealing in Almaty

Three women engaged in theft have been detained in Almaty. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the Almaty Police Department, they are daughters-in-law from one house. The women suspected of pickpocketing pre-assigned roles and chose crowded places.

"They stole mobile phones, money, and gold items at markets, public transport, and other crowded places," police said.

Preliminary data suggests the detainees may be involved in dozens of property crimes committed in Almaty. The investigation is ongoing.
