In Almaty, a fight broke out on a bus between men. A video of the incident spread on social media. The footage shows a conflict between men in public transport that escalated into a fight. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The fight took place in the bus cabin in front of passengers. During the incident, one of the passengers pulled out a knife. There were also small children on the bus.
Police reported that a criminal case has been opened on this fact. The suspects were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Almaty City Police Department.
"Each participant in the conflict will be given a principled legal assessment. Such aggressive and socially dangerous behavior is unacceptable," police said.
Those responsible will be brought to justice in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, law enforcement officers say.
