10 bus routes in Almaty to be rerouted until September 21

Almaty will temporarily change the routes of 10 bus routes due to events marking City Day. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to Almaty_Joly, Tole bi street from Nazarbayev Avenue to Abylai Khan Avenue will be fully closed from 22:00 on September 17 until 24:00 on September 21. During this time, the routes of buses No. 16, 37, 48, 126, 201, 205, 206, 209, 210 and 224 will change.

Routes No. 37, 48, 201, 206, 209, 210, 224

Eastbound: Tole bi → Abylai Khan → Kabanbay batyr → Nazarbayev → Tole bi – then follow the route.

Westbound: Tole bi → Nazarbayev → Bogenbay batyr → Abylai Khan → Tole bi – then follow the route.

Route No. 16

Eastbound: Tole bi → Abylai Khan → Gogol.

Westbound: Gogol → Abylai Khan → Tole bi.

Route No. 126

Eastbound: Tole bi → Abylai Khan → Gogol → Kaldayakov.

Westbound: Kaldayakov → Gogol → Abylai Khan → Tole bi.

Route No. 205

Eastbound: Zheltoksan → Gogol → Nazarbayev → Tole bi.

Westbound: Tole bi → Nazarbayev → Gogol → Nauryzbay batyr.

Passengers are asked to take the temporary changes into account when planning their trips.

Earlier, Kursiv wrote that Almaty City Day this year will be celebrated on September 19 and 20. In total, around 300 festive events are planned in the city, and entry to the main city venues will be free.
